Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Senegal. The company confirmed availability on February 3, 2026.
Senegal has joined Starlink's commercial footprint in West Africa. Its arrival follows earlier regional launches including Ghana, Liberia and Guinea-Bissau, with the company directing customers to its ordering website.
For a household or business beyond a suitable terrestrial connection, a satellite terminal could offer another way online. The cost of the hardware, installation and service still matters. A national launch doesn't by itself establish that the new option is affordable or preferable for every customer.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
