Starlink, after officially launching in the United States back in November 2020, has since extended its coverage to various countries across the globe.
We want to provide an overview about where Starlink is currently available and what it costs in each country it is operational in. The list itself is sorted alphabetically and only includes countries where Starlink is available and live.
Furthermore, we currently only list prices for the Residential plan. The Business and Roam (formerly RV) plans are therefore excluded. We also make sure to provide any price changes that Starlink has undergone.

As of right now, Starlink is available in 70 countries across the world. Rolling out the service to new countries normally requires the approval of local governments, so market expansion will likely continue for the foreseeable future.

Hello Ehrenfried, Namibia is currently scheduled for Q4 2023 launch. I’d assume that pricing is on par with the other African markets Starlink is available in (Nigeria & Rwanda), so around US$40 per month and US$550 for the hardware.

Hi Bunyengo, you’d need to use Global Roaming in this case. That said, if you want to activate it in Zambia, then you’d need to order a new dish and subscribe to Residential service.

Hi Omar, first of all: Starlink is not licensed to operate in Oman, so you would run the risk of having service cut out at any given time.
That said, what does often work is ordering Starlink in a nearby country and use Regional or Global Roaming. With Roam Regional, you can use it in the same continent. So yes, you probably could get it in Malaysia or the Philippines and then transport it back to Oman – both of which are likely the cheapest nearby option in terms of hardware and subscription cost.
Again, do keep in mind that Starlink could deactivate your service at any given time. However, it has been running smoothly in other unlicensed countries, such as South Africa, for quite some time now.

Hi Sergio, we at Starlink Insider are not affiliated with Starlink or SpaceX, so I can’t speak to any discounts they may introduce.
That said, Starlink does offer discounts on a regular basis, especially in countries where the internet infrastructure is somewhat sophisticated. Europe also remains undersold in terms of capacity, so I assume that a discounting of the hardware will only be a matter of time. How long, though, I won’t know.
The price is actually at 323€ for hardware+shipping. This is erronious in the listing here.

Hi Barbara, a launch date has not been shared at this moment. Your best bet at this point would be to go to one of the countries that have licensed it (e.g., Nigeria or Rwanda) and get it via the Roam plan.
It’s difficult and expensive to obtain good Internet in South Sudan, Africa. There is a school there that could benefit considerably if it were accessible. Is there any information concerning availability in South Sudan?

The second is that all rocket and missile exhausts present a cumulative impact on life on Planet Earth. I report this as a social and geopolitical researcher for several organisations and note that no international agency is monitoring either issue and none has assumed accountability. Several scientists have expressed concern. I stress that no single enterprise is being targeted here and this must become truly global to prevent competitors from using this to unfair advantage.
