Starlink is now available in Gibraltar, according to the company's April 30, 2026 announcement.
Gibraltar adds a small but distinct market to Starlink's European coverage. The opening is separate from the earlier launches in nearby Spain and Portugal.
For customers who already have a good fixed connection, satellite is more likely to be considered as an alternative or backup than an automatic upgrade. Its usefulness comes down to the service available at the property and the cost of maintaining another connection.
Installation matters here, too. A dish positioned close to surrounding buildings or the Rock may have a restricted view of the satellites. Check the sky view before choosing the mounting point.
The launch announcement does not provide a local price list. Customers can check the address, equipment options, and recurring charge on Starlink's order map, then compare the complete cost with an existing connection.
