Starlink has begun opening Spanish customer orders, with prospective users receiving availability messages on January 5.

A contemporary recipient discussion records customers being asked to complete payment. Another same-day account describes an earlier preorder moving forward after a wait.

That is a different stage from simply paying a deposit for possible future service. It does not establish that every Spanish applicant has become eligible at once, so the account and service address still need to be checked.

Spain follows Portugal in Starlink's European footprint. An isolated property could have a strong reason to consider the terminal where the existing fixed or mobile service is inadequate.

For somebody already served by a reliable terrestrial connection, the cost comparison is different. The equipment and subscription should be judged against the service available at the actual property, rather than a speed reported elsewhere.

Our Spanish installation directory covers setup planning. Buildings, trees and surrounding terrain can still cause obstructions at an address where an order has been accepted.
