Starlink is now available in the Faroe Islands. The company announced the opening on May 21, 2025.
The archipelago adds another North Atlantic market to the service, following earlier launches in Iceland and Norway. It is a distinct opening from mainland Denmark's earlier rollout.
For an individual customer, remoteness alone does not establish whether satellite is the best option. The connection already reaching the property, installation requirements, and the complete price will determine how useful the additional choice is.
The islands' terrain also makes the mounting position worth checking carefully. A dish needs a clear view of the sky, rather than simply a position that faces the nearest settlement. Our obstruction guide explains the app's site check.
Starlink's post confirms availability but does not list local tariffs. The service address on the company's map is the place to check the equipment and subscription being offered.
