Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Iceland. The company confirmed availability on February 9, 2023.
Iceland is now part of Starlink's commercial service area, adding another North Atlantic market. The company directs customers to its website to check the availability of service at their location.
For an isolated property, an additional way online could be valuable. The installation needs to suit the property and its conditions, though: a secure mount, suitable cable routing and a usable power supply are part of the project. The launch announcement doesn't establish the speed a particular Icelandic customer will receive.
Our Starlink installation directory for Iceland can help with planning the local setup. For current plans, check the service address on Starlink’s availability map.
