Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Norway. The company confirmed availability on August 27, 2022.
Norway is now part of Starlink's service area. The announcement opens another Nordic market, but it should not be read as a claim that every northern location has the same service conditions.
The country extends a long way north, so an address-level availability check is especially useful here. A cabin, coastal property or rural workplace also needs a practical mounting position; a view across a fjord doesn't necessarily mean the dish has enough open sky above it.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
