Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Sri Lanka. The company confirmed availability on July 2, 2025.
Sri Lanka has joined Starlink's commercial service area. The launch adds another South Asian market after Bangladesh, with customers able to check an address and the available plans on the official site.
The satellite option could be useful for an outlying property or a business that wants another route online. Whether it is a good purchase depends on what the existing fixed or mobile network delivers there. A buyer should compare the complete cost and installation needs with those local alternatives.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
