Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Bangladesh. The company confirmed availability on May 20, 2025.
Bangladesh has joined Starlink's South Asian footprint after Bhutan. Customers can now check their service address through the company rather than relying on a future rollout estimate.
The potential benefit is greatest where a suitable terrestrial connection is missing or unreliable. A rural workplace could use the satellite link as its main connection or as another route online. Keeping that connection running through a power interruption would still require backup electricity for the terminal and local network.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
