Starlink has announced satellite broadband availability in Sint Maarten. The company confirmed the launch on May 23, 2025.
Sint Maarten occupies the southern part of the island shared with Saint Martin. The opening is separate from the 2022 announcement covering the French side and Saint Barthélemy. Availability on one side should not be treated as the launch date for the other.
Customers considering the service will need to compare the complete cost with the broadband already available at their property. Satellite may supply another route online, but the dish and its installation add to the recurring subscription.
For a backup connection, a working power supply matters as much as the signal. Our power guide explains what needs electricity, while the obstruction guide covers the sky view.
Enter the service address on Starlink's map to check the local offer. The announcement does not establish identical plans across both sides of the island.
