Starlink has opened its satellite broadband service in Montserrat. The company announced the launch on November 7, 2025.
The island joins a growing set of Caribbean markets, following earlier availability in places including Dominica and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Each opening gives customers another connection to consider alongside the services already offered locally.
That does not mean every household needs to switch. For a property with a reliable fixed connection, the more useful question may be whether satellite provides enough additional value as a backup to justify another monthly bill.
The dish also needs a suitable installation site. Buildings, trees, and terrain can interrupt the view it needs, so check obstructions before settling on a mount.
Starlink's announcement confirms the market opening, without setting out a local tariff. Enter the address on the availability map for the relevant equipment and service offer.
