Starlink has added the Cayman Islands to its broadband footprint. The company announced local availability on December 23, 2025.
The opening follows the recent Caribbean launches in Montserrat and Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba. Those are separate markets, with offers that need to be checked locally.
For a home or business in the Cayman Islands, the decision will depend on the connection already available. A second route to the internet can be useful, but the subscription, hardware, and installation costs need to make sense for the intended use.
Satellite also needs electricity at the property. If the aim is to keep working during an outage, the router and dish need a suitable backup supply, too. Our power consumption guide explains the equipment side of that calculation.
The launch post does not establish an island-wide price or a guaranteed speed at every property. Check the service address on Starlink's map for the current offer.
