Starlink has opened broadband service in Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba. The company named all three islands in its December 9, 2025 announcement.

These are the Caribbean Netherlands, with Bonaire near Curaçao and the other two islands much farther north. They should not be confused with Sint Maarten, which received its own launch announcement in May.

The opening gives homes and businesses another connection to compare with local alternatives. Whether it is useful as a main line or a backup depends on the address, the existing service, and the total cost of keeping the equipment online.

A satellite connection still needs an appropriate installation. Trees and nearby buildings can obstruct the dish, while an outage plan needs power for the router and terminal. Our guides cover sky obstructions and power consumption.

Check the individual service address on Starlink's map before ordering. A single announcement covering three islands does not establish a single installation cost for every property.
