Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Bhutan. The company confirmed availability on February 11, 2025.
Bhutan has joined Starlink's commercial footprint. Its arrival brings satellite broadband to another landlocked Asian market, with orders checked against a customer's service address.
Bhutan's mountainous terrain makes installation a particularly practical concern. A location can be remote enough to need a different internet option while still having a restricted view of the sky. A dish placed behind a steep slope or beneath trees may not get the view it needs as satellites move overhead.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
