Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Tuvalu. The company confirmed availability on January 18, 2025.
Starlink said Tuvalu was its 120th country, territory or other market. The announcement adds another remote Pacific island country to the network's commercial service area.
A satellite dish could provide another route online for a home or organisation, without waiting for a cable to reach the premises. It doesn't establish how many people a particular connection will comfortably serve. A household connection and a shared community installation need different planning, especially around local Wi-Fi and power.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
