Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in South Korea. The company confirmed availability on December 4, 2025.

South Korea has joined Starlink's commercial service footprint in Asia. The announcement directs customers to the company's website to check the service address and the plans offered there.

The launch adds an option rather than establishing that satellite is the best connection for every Korean household. For a customer already served by reliable fibre, a terminal may have a different role from one at an isolated property. Hardware cost, installation and the local alternative still determine whether it makes sense.

Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
