Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Malta. The company confirmed availability on September 10, 2022.
SpaceX said Malta's addition brought Starlink to 40 countries. The announcement concerns its satellite broadband service, with customers directed to the company's availability and ordering website.
An island location can make an additional route online attractive, particularly for a business that needs a backup. That doesn't turn a residential subscription into a service for a moving boat, however. Customers need to match the plan and hardware to where the terminal will actually be used.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
