Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Lesotho. The company confirmed availability on June 22, 2025.
Lesotho is now part of Starlink's commercial footprint in southern Africa. The launch gives the landlocked country another broadband option, checked against the address where the terminal will be installed.
Its mountainous terrain makes the dish position an important part of the decision. A remote site can benefit from bypassing the need for a new cable while still being a difficult place to install a satellite terminal. Nearby slopes and buildings can restrict the sky that the equipment needs to see.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
