Starlink has begun opening full orders in Italy, adding another market to its European rollout.
In a September 14 recipient discussion, an applicant in Florence reports a same-day full-order confirmation. Contemporary Italian reporting also describes the service arriving in limited quantities.
A full-order conversion is different from the earlier opportunity to pay a deposit. It also doesn't establish that every Italian address is now being served, or that all reservation holders will be offered equipment at once.
The opening follows Poland and Switzerland in the expanding European footprint. The service could be useful at a rural property whose existing connection cannot meet the household or business's needs.
The local comparison still matters. A working fibre line and a slow connection over a long copper cable create very different reasons to consider buying a satellite terminal.
Our Italian installation directory covers setup planning. The dish needs a suitable view of the sky, even when the service address has been accepted and the equipment is ready to ship.
