Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Guyana. The company confirmed availability on April 8, 2025.
Guyana is now part of Starlink's South American service area. The launch gives customers another possible connection beyond the terrestrial network reaching their particular property.
For an inland workplace or remote accommodation business, that could be useful. An area with extensive tree cover can also present a straightforward installation problem: the terminal needs more than a small gap directly overhead. Customers should check its view of the sky before committing to a site.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
