Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in the Federated States of Micronesia. The company confirmed availability on April 25, 2024.
The Federated States of Micronesia has joined Starlink's Pacific rollout. The announcement concerns the independent country, rather than the much broader geographic region that is also called Micronesia.
Its islands are spread across the western Pacific, making the location of an individual connection an important part of the story. A satellite dish could give an outlying property another route online, but customers still need a deliverable order, the right service plan and a place to install the equipment.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
