Starlink has announced broadband availability in the Falkland Islands. The company confirmed the opening on October 31, 2025, using the name Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) in its announcement.

The launch adds another remote South Atlantic market. Satellite broadband could be useful for properties where extending a terrestrial connection is difficult, although the announcement itself does not establish what an individual customer will receive at a particular site.

This is a local broadband opening, separate from the earlier launches in Chile and Argentina. A subscription intended for one market should not be assumed to cover every use in another.

Customers will also need to account for the equipment and its installation. An exposed mounting position may offer a good sky view, but the mount still needs to suit the building and local conditions. Our obstruction guide covers the first check.

Current local offers are listed through the service address on Starlink's map. Hardware, shipping, and the monthly subscription all belong in the comparison.
