Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in the Central African Republic. The company confirmed availability on March 16, 2026.
The Central African Republic has joined Starlink's commercial service area. The company's dated confirmation establishes availability, rather than only permission for a future deployment.
The satellite service could give an isolated office, school or health facility another way to connect. That still requires a functioning installation on the ground. A terminal, suitable power supply and local network have to work together, especially when an organisation plans to share the connection across several rooms or buildings.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
