Starlink has launched its satellite broadband service in Bahrain. The company confirmed availability on May 16, 2025.
Bahrain is now part of Starlink's commercial service area. Its arrival follows Oman and Jordan in the company's Middle Eastern expansion, with service checked against a customer's own address.
For a property already served by reliable fixed broadband, satellite internet may be more relevant as a backup than a replacement. That comparison needs the complete cost of a second connection, including the terminal and installation. The launch announcement doesn't establish that every customer needs to switch providers.
Check the proposed dish position for obstructions before ordering. The plans offered for an address can be checked on Starlink’s live availability map.
