In reply to Jeff. My experience begins with Starlink loosing my email account. Good luck getting anywhere with this huge company if they lost your email account. You can't call them and you can't sign in even to fix the email address associated with your account; apparently that isn't allowed. I've been using this account for at least 10 years so I know how to type it quite well.

I live in PA and just ordered a new Starlink kit (rental) 30 day free trial. I may have an issue with large trees surrounding my property. Had satellite TV years ago without any major issues, temp service loss with heavy snow storms but a well aimed snowball seemed to clear things up for me. My wife has an online home business selling costume jewelry on eBay and we have 54 wireless gadgets connected to wifi 24×7. Our cable company is way overpriced and has changed hands several times in the past few years. Hopefully this new system will work well with my Orbi mesh system w/3 remote satellites which I don’t see why it wouldn’t.

I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and used to have wireless internet at 5ms down and 1ms up and it was painful. We finally have Star link for a month now and are kicking ourselves for not doing it years ago. It is a complete game changer. We are sure happy so far.

I had high hopes for Starlink and will say that the actual service is good. Where it absolutley SUCKS is in billing and ablility to contact actual support. They are the worst I ever dealt with.
I have an RV with the roaming plan at $50 per month and used it for two days/nights with a few hours of usage on the Starlink. Imagine my surprise when I received a $286 bill for usage with out a message telling me I was running over. I find it impossible to have run over at all, much less by 500%.
It is password protected and sat unused at my house with everything turned off.
Trying to get a human on the phone is impossible as they just send BS messages back saying they won’t help.
They are thieves and anyone considering STARLINK should run away. I attend multiple functions per year and will be sure to warn anyone who cares to ask about them.
This THE worst service experience I have ever experienced.
What a nightmare they are.

In reply to Thomas Clements. Looking at Starlink as xFinity just sucks as far as uptime. I live in north Florida so storms/heavy rains is a concern since I work remote. Can you speak more on storm reliability? Heavy rains are pretty frequent where I live.
