Hi Boka,

Starlink is a home internet provider, so it potentially replaces whatever you use for your WiFi at home.

They do plan a mobile service, which will be launched in 2025. However, it won’t replace mobile carriers anytime soon and should be more seen as an add on.

Hi Viktor,
In our 70’s & not tech savvy or its verbage at all.
Confused over the very Basics! Like….
* Does this take the place of our Cell ph carrier? Do we drop our $140/mo Verizon cell service or is it in Addition to $150/mo +- Starlink?
*Does it function like our Dish Network tv plan that we pay $120/mo, or is Starlink in addition to?
* If Starlink becomes your new Cell ph carrier and your Cable TV…. does Starlink have a TV Guide where you get hundreds of Channels that you can see what’s playing on each channel? (btw, we don’t know how, or even just what ‘Streaming’ is.)
* If you get the Roam service (say for different locations for 2-6 months at a time), when we drive around for the day as tourists, will we have Cell/Internet service?
